About this role
Providing technical and administrative support for online courses, the full-time Academic Technologist will assist with Learning Management System (LMS) issues, conduct accessibility audits, and deliver training for faculty and students in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Monitor and resolve faculty and student requests related to LMS and educational technologies Conduct accessibility audits to ensure compliance with WCAG standards and assist in remediation efforts Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for faculty and students on various educational technologies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education 1 to 3 years of experience in LMS or educational technology support Experience with ADA compliance and training preferred Proficiency in various Learning Management Systems (e.g., Brightspace, Canvas, Blackboard) Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for online course delivery
