About this role

To support patient services, the part-time After Hours Patient Representative will communicate with patients to schedule prescribed procedures, perform clerical duties, and assist with insurance pre-certification remotely. Key responsibilities Accurately gather and enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the database Resolve scheduling issues regarding procedures and efficiently coordinate patient schedules Provide counseling to patients regarding pre-service requirements and instructions Required qualifications High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable job-specific experience Medical Assistant background preferred Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat in a healthcare setting Ability to navigate multiple systems in a remote environment Familiarity with Athena, Epic, Dash, Salesforce, or Genesys is a plus
