About this role

Working remotely, the part-time Bilingual Patient Advocate Specialist will manage patient eligibility screenings for state and federal assistance programs, assist with application processes, and maintain positive relationships with patients while ensuring timely resolution of account balances. Key responsibilities: Screen patients for eligibility of state and federal assistance programs and advise them on suitable options Initiate and assist with the application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately Maintain thorough records in the CUBS system and follow up on applications to secure benefits for patients Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required Previous customer service or call center experience preferred Experience with medical coding or billing is a plus Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively
