About this role

Business Analyst - Murex Vistulo (for a major N. American bank) Daily tasks: - Collect and drive requirements directly with the business, and advise on what's technically sensible and feasible - Translate requirements into Jira tickets, own the backlog, and hold the development team accountable for quality, on-time delivery - Bring deep Murex, capital markets, payments, and/or FX domain knowledge so requirements and reviews are technically grounded - Run acceptance testing to confirm delivered work actually meets the requirement - Depending on your background, focus in one area that aligns with your experience.

This may be: defining test strategy and acceptance criteria and pushing testing toward automation; scoping integration and data-mapping requirements between Murex and downstream systems and reviewing technical approach with real engineering depth, and/or building test cases in MXtest - Use AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery work where it makes sense Musts: Murex Must have 5+ years of Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Owner experience Hands-on Murex experience in one of these areas - testing (MXtest), integration, or technical configuration Domain experience in one or more of the following areas: Payments, transfers, SWIFT, FX auto-pricing, FX hedging, FX risk management, FX front-office trade booking, FX cash, FX trade lifecycle (confirmation, affirmation, regulatory reporting); Ability to take on a problem and deliver the solution without needing to be walked through every step A bias for action and an execution-mindset: Ability to drive requirements straight from the business, not waiting to be told what to do Willingness to follow through until issues are resolved, figuring out how to solve problems as opposed to waiting for answers Strong communication skills and comfort working in high-stakes, trader-facing environments.

Ability to align your work hours to maintain a 5-6-hour overlap with US Eastern business hours. Nice to have Prior software development experience Experience using AI tools to speed up requirements, testing, or delivery work Options knowledge We're hiring Business Analysts who bring deep, hands-on Murex expertise in one of three areas - testing, integration, or technical configuration. You’ll draft requirements, work with the business to shape them, and collaborate with the engineering team to get the software built.

You are responsible for end-to-end product delivery. This is a BA role where your effectiveness comes from genuinely understanding Murex, and the domain around it. You will be working through a Polish company that will provide the support and administrative assistance to make you successful in the role.
