About this role

To support procurement operations, the full-time California Licensed Procurement Buyer will manage moderately complex purchase orders, negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendors, and ensure compliance with regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Facilitates the fulfillment of purchase orders by reviewing requisitions, placing orders, and resolving issues with suppliers Negotiates pricing terms and conditions with vendors to obtain favorable contract terms and monitors vendor performance Provides market insights and conducts research to identify new sources of supply and purchasing trends Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field Minimum three (3) years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, distribution operations, or procurement Minimum one (1) year of experience in a leadership role Experience managing vendor contracts and relationships Proficiency in negotiation strategies for procurement activities
