Computer Vision Scientist
About this role
Computer Vision Scientist Fox HR Consulting Kft. Daily tasks: - Lead the research, design, and development of Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions. - Design, train, fine-tune, and optimize deep learning models. - Develop solutions for Object Detection, Image Classification, Semantic Segmentation, OCR, and Visual Search. - Own the complete model lifecycle, from data preparation and experimentation to production deployment and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, research papers, and open-source AI models. - Define and improve model evaluation processes, MLOps practices, and model versioning strategies. - Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers working on AI and Computer Vision initiatives. - Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and Data teams to deliver scalable AI solutions. Musts: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, sickit-learn, OpenCV, Computer vision, Machine learning, Docker PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related technical discipline.
7+ years of hands-on experience in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Strong Python programming skills. Solid experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow . Hands-on knowledge of OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn . Deep understanding of modern Computer Vision architectures such as YOLO, Vision Transformers, Mask R-CNN, CLIP, SAM , or similar models. Proven experience delivering Machine Learning models into production environments.
Experience with Docker, REST APIs, CI/CD , and MLOps practices. Excellent English communication skills. Nice to have Publications, patents, or a strong applied research background in Computer Vision or AI. Experience defining technical direction for AI/ML projects. Knowledge of edge AI or mobile inference technologies (ONNX, TensorRT, OpenVINO, TFLite, etc.). Experience with multimodal or vision-language models. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud-based ML platforms.
Experience working in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, electronics, or e-commerce environments.
