About this role

Leading a talented team of mobile engineers, the full-time Engineering Manager - Mobile Apps will oversee the development of customer-facing experiences for iOS and Android apps, working in a hybrid capacity with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Seattle, San Francisco, or Detroit, while also considering fully remote candidates. Key responsibilities Manage the end-to-end mobile development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality updates are delivered weekly to app stores Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects that maximize customer and business value Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of growth, ownership, and continuous learning Required qualifications 6+ years of experience in mobile development for iOS or Android, with at least 3 years in a management role Proven track record of building high-performing engineering teams focused on consumer-facing products Experience with mobile development technologies such as Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or similar Strong ability to connect engineering work to meaningful customer and business outcomes
