About this role

Expert Rates Engineer GFT Poland Daily tasks: - Work directly with FX traders and quantitative teams to gather and refine requirements - Design and develop FX forward pricing and trading solutions - Create detailed technical designs for new features and enhancements - Develop low-latency and multi-threaded Java applications - Integrate pricing models and market data feeds into the platform - Collaborate with development teams across the global trading programme - Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices - Support deployments to development and test environments - Participate in production support and on-call activities when required Musts: Java, Rates, Multithreading, FX 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java server-side development Strong knowledge of multi-threaded and concurrent programming Experience building distributed enterprise systems in high-availability environments Experience working in low-latency or real-time trading platforms Knowledge of FX markets, including Spot FX and Forward FX products Experience with system design, testing, and software development best practices Ability to work closely with traders, quants, and business stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Nice to have Experience with FX or eRates pricing platforms Knowledge of KDB/Q Experience with Python Experience working in investment banking environments Understanding of electronic trading and eCommerce platforms What will you do? You will join a team responsible for building and enhancing FX Forward Pricing solutions used by global trading desks.
