About this role

To ensure compliance and quality in mortgage underwriting, the full-time remote Mortgage Underwriting Quality Control Analyst will conduct internal audits, evaluate loan accuracy, and communicate findings to management while holding active FHA and VA certifications. Key responsibilities: Evaluate loans monthly for accuracy and compliance with Bank standards Perform pre-funding and post-funding Quality Control reviews, including guideline assessments and re-verification of loan files Conduct special audits and identify potential fraud or misrepresentation Required qualifications: Active FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) Certification Active VA LAPP/SAR Certification Minimum of 4 years' experience in mortgage underwriting Associate's degree or a combined minimum of 6 years' higher education and/or work experience Working knowledge of agency guidelines and proficiency in Allregs, Microsoft Excel, and Word
