About this role

Head of Design EDISONDA P.S.A Daily tasks: - ownership of the Product Design line's P&L - driving revenue at target margins; - monitoring project budgets and preventing cost overruns; - actively identifying upselling opportunities with existing clients. - managing a portfolio of 3–5 key clients and maintaining high satisfaction - ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standard; - supporting teams in making key design decisions.

- planning project staffing and maintaining optimal team utilization; - matching competencies to projects and preventing both overload and bench time. - leading and developing the Design team; - conducting monthly 1-on-1s, setting certification paths, and running quarterly performance reviews; - evaluating work quality, seniority levels, and the potential of designers. - collaborating closely with the Growth team on proposals, estimations, and client pitches; - developing Design services together with the Digital Partner, Growth team, and managers of other areas; - collaborating with Research & Data, Digital Strategy, and AI & Automation teams; - advancing the practice of digital product design, enterprise systems, design systems, services, and AI-driven interfaces.

Musts: Figma, AI, Product design, UX design, Team management, Business process management, Communication skills We are looking for someone who : has at least 10 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI, Service Design, or related fields ; has experience managing a design team in an international environment; c an assess competencies , provide constructive feedback, and make decisions about team development; has led complex digital projects for multiple clients or stakeholders ; understands the economics of professional services - budgets, margins, estimations, team utilization , and scope control; has experience preparing proposals and conducting client-facing conversations ; connects user , business, and technology perspectives ; i s comfortable working with C- level executives , as well as business, product , and technology leaders ; is fluent in both Polish and English.

We do not expect hands-on expertise in every design specialization . What matters most is the ability to recognize high- quality work , build the right team, and take responsibility for the outcome . Nice to Have Experience in projects for the financial , energy , logistics , or healthcare sectors , or for large enterprise organizations . We also value familiarity with enterprise systems , legacy modernization , digital accessibility , design systems , and AI- based interface design.

About the Role We are looking for a leader to run the Product Design area at EDISONDA - someone who combines responsibility for the team, project quality , client relationships , and business results . In our structure, Head of Design is not just a "team leader". It is a Business Line Manager and a Micro-P&L Owner - leading the Product Design area like a business within the company, balancing client satisfaction, profitability, and talent development.

Head of Design will manage a team covering Product Design, UX/UI, Visual Design, Motion Design, and Service Design. This is a role for someone who can evaluate design quality , develop people , lead complex projects , and at the same time understands the business side of consulting services. The role reports to the Digital Partner, responsible for the strategic development of EDISONDA's competencies and offering . Head of Design translates this direction into the team's daily operations , service development, and delivery quality and efficiency .
