About this role
Lead Software Engineer – C# / .NET Link Group Daily tasks: - Design and develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance distributed systems using C#/.NET. - Remain hands-on with software development, technical design, and code reviews. - Contribute to the modernization of the platform and migration from C#/.NET to Rust. - Support the integration of new products and capabilities into the platform. - Define technical standards, architecture principles, and development best practices.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and delivery. - Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to a small team. - Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. - Drive technical roadmaps, balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform scalability and reliability. Musts: C#, .NET, Rust, DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Jira 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
Strong expertise in C#/.NET and distributed, service-oriented architectures. Good understanding of concurrent and high-performance programming. Experience designing scalable, resilient, and high-volume systems. Willingness and openness to working with Rust as part of the platform's ongoing technology evolution. Experience with AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, or similar.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership. Nice to Have Previous experience with Rust . Knowledge of AWS, Kafka, serverless, or cloud-native architectures. Experience with React or Angular. Familiarity with event-driven architectures. Experience in financial markets About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in C#/.NET to take technical ownership of high-volume, distributed systems supporting critical processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining software architecture and development with technical guidance and mentoring of a small engineering team. You will work closely with global technology and operations teams to expand and modernize the platform, while contributing to its ongoing evolution towards Rust .
