Lead Software Engineer / Full-Stack Tech Lead Simon-Kucher Core Business Services Sp. z o. o. Daily tasks: - Building reliable software solutions: You take technical responsibility for one of our product lines in the pricing domain and design, build and operate reliable, secure, and high-performing software solutions. You also lead estimation, design and implementation of new features and projects from a technical perspective.

- Hands-On development: You actively contribute to coding in a high-output environment. - Drive architecture and technical vision: You manage technical debt and develop a long-term tech strategy and roadmap for the software solutions under your responsibility. - Operational excellence: You demonstrate operational excellence throughout the product lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and enhancing monitoring, observability, and team productivity.

- Collaborate across teams: You will closely collaborate with product management and product delivery to drive success for our products. - Mentorship and team development: You provide mentorship and coaching to engineers; foster knowledge sharing and establish technical standards. You contribute to team growth through participation in hiring and on-boarding processes. Musts: Software Engineering, Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Angular, React, TypeScript, AWS, EC2, S3, RDS, EMR, ECS/EKS, Glue, Redshift, Technical leadership, Data-driven applications, Analytical skills You have a bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related field.

You have at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Quarkus. You are proficient in frontend development with Angular or React. You have experience with TypeScript. You have hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, EMR, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Glue, and Redshift. You are already working in a technical leadership (at least 2 years) role and are an expert in designing, building, and running highly available, multi-tenant SaaS solutions.

You have experience in data-driven applications across various domains, including data ingestion, processing, storage, and online analytical processing, and you are proficient in technologies in these fields. You are fluent in English. Any relevant AWS or Java certifications would be a strong asset. Python is nice to have. We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead / Full-Stack Lead Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of our next-generation pricing, sales and marketing platforms, such as our dynamic pricing software platform.

This individual will lead a team of engineers to build a data-intensive application leveraging AWS cloud services, Java, ensuring high scalability, performance, and robustness. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will set the technical vision, guide architectural decisions, and contribute directly to coding and solution design while mentoring and developing your team.
