Write plots and lead original story development when needed. Scout and brief manga artists and illustrators who fit the look. Build and manage relationships with publishers and editors. Select and manage anime production studios; handling contracts and budgets. 🎯 Requirements Hands-on manga editing/directing experience at a publisher or IP firm.

Proven ability to develop original stories yourself. Sharp editorial/directorial instincts for capturing a character’s voice. Strong relationships with publishers, manga artists, and writers. Working knowledge of anime production: studio contracts, budgets, schedules. Existing connections with major TV networks; experience pitching concepts. Exceptional collaboration; able to seek consensus and feedback. Business-level English for global collaboration; strong written English.
