About this role

Seeking experienced secondary math teachers, the part-time Math Teacher Specialist will conduct remote sessions for 7th-8th grade Pre-Algebra students, focusing on tailored lesson plans and tracking progress without the need for grading papers. Key responsibilities Meet with students in 25 to 55-minute sessions weekly, primarily in the afternoons and evenings Assess students' starting points and curate personalized lesson plans based on their needs Track student progress and communicate updates to parents while attending regular team meetings Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or related fields At least 2 years of teaching experience Ability to work a minimum of 14 hours with students per week Good communication skills with parents Patient and adaptable to students' moods while teaching in an engaging manner
