About this role

To develop and deliver engineering solutions for products operating in high environmental stress conditions, the remote-based Mechanical Engineer for Harsh Environments will design, test, and optimize hardware solutions while collaborating with global teams to ensure performance and reliability. Key responsibilities Develop and implement mechanical and materials engineering solutions from concept through product release, focusing on reliability in high-stress environments Design, develop, test, and document systems, subsystems, and components in line with project goals and industry standards Collaborate with global competence communities and research organizations to drive technical innovation and breakthroughs Required qualifications Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field Minimum 5 years of experience in developing industrial products for high environmental heavy applications Strong expertise in materials selection for chemical corrosion resistance Hands-on experience with risk assessment and reliability design for harsh operating conditions Experience with ATEX certified products is a strong advantage
