About this role
Maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements, the full-time North Carolina Licensed Accountant will analyze financial reports, manage general ledger accounts, and provide insights on business operations while working remotely with occasional travel for conferences. Key responsibilities Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance Maintains and reconciles general ledger accounts and monitors cash balances for multiple entities Develops and analyzes budgets, providing periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with a minor in computer information systems Two to four years of experience in finance and accounting or equivalent education and training Proficient in MS Office programs, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Above moderate to high levels of Spanish speaking, writing, and reading comprehension Experience in analyzing business operations and trends to project future revenues and expenses
