About this role

OpenStack Cloud Engineer Spyrosoft Daily tasks: - Develop and maintain OpenStack Cinder block storage services. - Develop and maintain OpenStack Nova compute services. - Build and maintain automation workflows using Python and/or Go. - Operate and administer Linux-based cloud infrastructure. - Contribute patches and improvements to OpenStack upstream projects. - Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.

Musts: OpenStack, Python, Linux, Cloud, Kubernetes, CD pipelines Hands‑on production experience with OpenStack (especially Cinder and Nova ) Strong programming skills in Python and/or Go Deep knowledge of Linux systems administration and cloud infrastructure Experience running Kubernetes in production Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines , build management, and release processes Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills OpenStack upstream contribution experience is a plus Good command of English (German is a plus) Nice to have: Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow We’re looking for an OpenStack Cloud Engineer to help build, operate, and optimise the core services of a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform.

You’ll work across Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, automation, and open‑source components to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment.
