About this role

Driving the vision and execution of payment partnerships, the full-time Payments Partnerships Manager will manage high-value relationships and negotiate deals to ensure reliable and efficient payouts for hosts globally, while working remotely. Key responsibilities Define and evolve the payout partner strategy in collaboration with various teams to align with Airbnb's strategic goals Own and cultivate relationships with financial institutions and payment processors, ensuring high-priority status for Airbnb Assist in scaling Airbnb's payout infrastructure while monitoring partner performance and addressing operational misalignments Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in the payments or fintech industry, with at least 8 years in strategic partnerships or business development Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar partnerships and commercial negotiations Deep knowledge of global payment methods and cross-border payout solutions Experience resolving partner conflicts across multiple markets or regulatory contexts MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
