About this role

Power BI Visualization Engineer Mindbox Sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - Deliver impactful, business-oriented dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Service. - Build and optimize semantic data models (star schema, relationships) for BI performance and accuracy. - Create advanced DAX measures, ensuring calculation correctness, context awareness, and query performance. - Work directly with stakeholders: gather requirements, define KPI frameworks, and translate them into actionable visual insights.

- Enable self-service BI and ensure best practices in design for readability, aesthetics, and scalability. - Work with SQL-based data sources (data warehouses) to prepare and optimize data for reporting. Musts: Power BI, DAX, Performance tuning, Data modeling, SQL Strong expertise in Power BI (Desktop & Service) , including governance and publishing workflows. Advanced proficiency in DAX , including measures, context handling, and performance tuning.

Experience in data modeling concepts , including star schema and relationship management. Solid SQL knowledge for data preparation within large-scale environments. Proven ability to create clear, visually appealing dashboards aligned with business KPIs . Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure data services (Synapse, ADF, Data Lake, Fabric). Knowledge of Power Query (M language) for ETL transformations.

Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines for Power BI deployments . Exposure to Power Automate and Power Platform for workflow automation. Python for ad hoc data tasks or automation scenarios. Experience working with corporate BI environments and large datasets .
