QA Engineer
About this role
QA Engineer Mindbox Sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - Plan and execute tests: Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scenarios based on user stories and requirements. - Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and API testing using tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman, RestAssured. - Test manually: Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Defect management: Identify, log, and track bugs in Jira, collaborating with developers for resolution. - CI/CD: Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and immediate feedback. - Agile collaboration: Participate in Scrum ceremonies—from daily stand-ups to retrospectives—advocating for quality at every step. Musts: QA Engineer, Testing, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, API testing, REST API, Postman, SQL, Kanban, DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Git, CD tools Experience: 3+ years in QA Engineering, Quality Analysis, or similar.
Automation: Strong command of testing frameworks and knowledge of Java or JavaScript/TypeScript for automation. API Testing: Skilled in testing RESTful APIs with tools like Postman or code libraries. Database: Ability to write SQL queries for data validation. Methodology: Knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps practices . Tools: Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Git , and CI/CD tools. Soft skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and great communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Nice to have Understanding of secure testing methodologies and performance testing experience. Previous exposure to financial or compliance-related systems.
