About this role

SDN Network Engineer OVS / OVN Spyrosoft Daily tasks: - Design and operate the software-defined networking layer for cloud infrastructure. - Contribute to open-source projects: Open vSwitch, OVN, OpenStack Neutron, Linux Kernel. - Design and develop networking APIs and cloud network platform products. - Implement observability: metrics, distributed tracing, structured logging for network services. - Build automation for network operations and operational workflows.

- Lead root cause analysis on network incidents and implement fixes. Musts: Cloud, VPC, VPN, BGP, Load balancing, Linux, Networking, iptables, SDN, OpenStack, C, C++, Go, Python, Kubernetes Production experience with OVS / OVN Strong cloud networking skills: VPC, NAT, VPN, BGP, VXLAN, LB, DNS Solid understanding of Linux networking (namespaces, iptables, tc, kernel) Experience with OpenStack Neutron Programming in C/C++, Go, Python, or Bash Familiarity with Kubernetes networking & CNI (e.g., Calico) DPDK experience is a plus Good command of English Nice to have: Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow We’re looking for an SDN Network Engineer to help develop, maintain, and optimise the cloud networking stack for a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform.

You’ll work across Linux networking, automation, and open‑source SDN components to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment.
