About this role

Senior Android Developer Avenga Daily tasks: - Developing and maintaining a native Android application built entirely in Kotlin. - Designing, implementing, and enhancing new features using Jetpack Compose. - Designing scalable, high-performance, and maintainable architectural solutions for mobile applications. - Implementing asynchronous programming solutions using Kotlin Coroutines. - Ensuring high code quality through Code Reviews, adherence to coding standards, and the development and maintenance of automated tests.

- Maintaining, refactoring, and optimizing the existing codebase with a focus on performance, stability, and long-term maintainability. - Applying expertise in the Android SDK, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms, and data structures to deliver robust technical solutions. - Configuring and maintaining application build processes using Gradle and collaborating with Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines. - Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, and Project Managers, throughout the entire product lifecycle.

- Independently analyzing technical issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions. - Participating in sprint planning, task estimation, technical discussions, and solution design. - Leveraging AI-assisted software development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve development efficiency and code quality. Musts: Android, Kotlin, Android SDK, OOP, Gradle, CI/CD Fluent in Kotlin and Compose framework for UI.

Deep knowledge in Coroutines. In-depth knowledge of Android SDK and native development. Practical knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms, and data structures. Knowledge of Gradle build processes and experience with Continuous Integration (CI) systems. High degree of autonomy in organizing work and effective problem-solving skills. English proficiency at a minimum B2 level (required for technical communication).

Project for the biggest e-commerce platform . Location: the office is based in Warsaw, you can work remotely, but It will be nice to see you once a quater in our office.
