About this role

Senior Engineer - Infrastructure Lead Mindbox Sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - Lead the DBA and Unix/Linux infrastructure team, delivering engineering and operational outcomes for critical services. - Own team delivery from intake and prioritization to execution and reporting. - Drive improvements in stability, monitoring, alerting, and performance across infrastructure and databases. - Establish and maintain engineering and operational standards (including documentation, peer review, and change practices).

- Mentor and coach engineers to build a thriving, high-performing team. - Foster a culture of quality, automation, and continuous improvement. Musts: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Unix, Linux Essential: 3+ years in team leadership, providing technical direction in enterprise environments. Proven track record of transforming a team into a high-performing function. Strong expertise in DBA (Oracle, Postgres) and/or Unix/Linux. Experience maintaining highly available, low-latency systems in a regulated industry (banking, fintech, insurance preferred).

Excellent problem-solving skills in performance, capacity, and incident management. Fluent English communication and ability to work in a global, multicultural environment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a strong sense of ownership. Desirable: Exposure to observability tools (AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, OpenTelemetry). Understanding of financial services compliance and risk management.
