About this role

Senior Engineer - SRE Lead Mindbox Sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - Lead an SRE engineering team responsible for delivering reliability and performance outcomes for critical systems. - Manage the end-to-end delivery pipeline: demand intake, prioritisation, and execution. - Define and implement SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs, ensuring measurable reliability objectives. - Drive adoption of observability and automation frameworks to enhance transparency and operational efficiency.

- Partner with engineering and operations teams to embed resilience in the software lifecycle. - Standardise engineering practices: runbooks, peer reviews, technical documentation, and quality controls. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship, developing team capabilities and setting performance standards. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement, proactively identifying reliability and scalability improvements.

Musts: SRE, Python, Go, Bash, CD pipelines, Grafana, Splunk, AppDynamics 3+ years of experience in technical leadership , managing SRE or DevOps-focused teams. Proven success in transforming engineering functions with automation, metrics-based reliability, and operational excellence . Strong programming and scripting skills ( Python, Go, Bash or similar). Expertise with CI/CD pipelines and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, AppDynamics).

Hands-on experience managing highly available, low-latency systems in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of incident management, post-mortem analysis, and Kubernetes-driven microservices . Excellent communication skills with ability to influence globally distributed teams. Familiar with Agile methodologies and modern DevOps/SRE practices. Nice to have: Experience maintaining IT platforms that include vendor solutions or complex third-party integrations .

Knowledge of compliance requirements within regulated sectors (finance, insurance, or similar). As the Team Lead for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) , you will own the SRE strategy and execution across multiple mission-critical services , ensuring high availability and operational excellence. This leadership role involves setting technical direction, improving observability, defining engineering standards, and uplifting team capability to deliver resilient and scalable systems . You will work closely with architecture, product owners, and engineering teams to embed SRE best practices, automate processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
