Senior Fullstack Developer (Angular + Django) KOIA Daily tasks: - Collaborate on both the back-end and front-end development of applications. - Work in a hybrid environment with regular time in our Gdańsk office alongside remote work flexibility. - Ensure high-quality code by writing end-to-end (e2e) tests and unit tests. - Support clients in transforming their existing applications to new technology stacks. - Maintain a client-focused approach and engage in regular communication.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (Angular + Django) to join a long-term project for our Norwegian client. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys building scalable products, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to architectural decisions.

You’ll work in a collaborative engineering environment where developers actively influence technical decisions, product direction, and software quality. Project You will work on an Accounting Practice Management System , co-owned by three major accounting firms. Once fully onboarded, the platform will serve 3,000+ daily enterprise users . The client’s engineering team is intentionally small (5-6 experienced developers) and focuses on building a better product than competitors with significantly larger engineering organizations.

Your qualifications You might be the perfect match if you are/have: 5+ years of commercial experience as a Fullstack Developer Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript Strong expertise in Django 4.x Excellent Python development skills Experience with Django REST Framework, Django Filters and Celery Experience writing unit tests using Pytest Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis Good understanding of microservices architecture Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, AWS Fargate is a plus) Good understanding of CI/CD workflows (CircleCI is a plus) Experience working with Git and GitHub workflows Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Very good English communication skills (B2+/C1) Experience using tools such as Claude, Copilot or Cursor in daily development Ability to leverage LLM-based tools for debugging, testing and development acceleration Actively experiments with modern AI-assisted development workflows Nice-to-have Experience with React, .NET or Node.js Experience designing distributed systems Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Experience working in fintech or product companies Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field What We Value Ownership and accountability Strong communication and collaboration skills Curiosity and continuous learning mindset Pragmatic approach to solving complex problems Attention to detail and code quality Openness to feedback and continuous improvement Taking initiative and suggesting improvements instead of waiting for direction Tech stack you’ll work with Frontend: Angular v21 (TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, Angular Router, Angular ReactiveForms) Backend: Django v4.2 (Django Rest Framework, Django Filters, Celery, Pytest) Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis Infrastructure: AWS Fargate DevOps & Tools: CI/CD: CircleCI Project Management: Jira Time Tracking: Toggl Version Control: GitHub KOIA is not just a software development house.
