About this role

Senior Java Developer Verita HR Daily tasks: - Develop and support front-to-back trading exchanges, client portals, and end-to-end trade lifecycles - Build high-end solutions using market-leading technologies across the trading stack - Deliver cross-product Front Office systems for trading and risk management across FX and Commodities - Maintain and enhance an electronic trading application suite optimised for low latency and high throughput - Enable real-time risk management capabilities for FX and Commodities trading workflows Musts: Java, HTTP, REST API, MQ, SQL 5+ years’ experience in Java back-end development with HTTPS, RESTful API, micro-services and MQ ­ Good sense and experience in high-availability service architecture ­ Good experience in SQL and at least one main stream database (Postgres SQL or Sybase), with basic knowledge in database performance ­ Experience of owning or leading the delivery a Java-based service / module ­ Good communication skills enabling efficient discussion, meeting facilitation and presentation while proficient in English ­ Strong analytical thinking and problem solving capability ­ A faster learner with curiosity and passion in technology, who keeps updating his/her knowledge and has his/her own technical expertise area(s) ­ Ability to deal with pressure and calmness in urgent / stressing situation ­ A team player Prestigious position at one of the world's largest banks Stable, long-term projects Competitive salary with a B2B contract Hybrid work (6 days per month from the office in Cracow) and flexible working hours Private healthcare and multisport card Personal growth and development opportunities with the possibility to rotate between projects Referral program and company events Convenient parking
