About this role

📋 Description Own end-to-end model development: design, build, test, and maintain ML systems and algorithms. Deploy and operate models to increase Thorn’s capability to detect and remove CSAM content. Collaborate with ML engineers and product teams to deploy models and model serving infrastructure. Communicate problem formulation, feature design, training and evaluation results to technical and non-technical audiences.

Present technical work at conferences and external forums representing Thorn. 🎯 Requirements 5+ years in ML/AI; PhD or Master’s in a quantitative field, or equivalent experience. Experience designing and building ML systems and pipelines for production. Experience deploying computer vision and/or NLP in production. Ability to learn new technologies quickly; thrive in ambiguity; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills; written and spoken, especially in a distributed team.
