About this role

Senior PHP Developer TechGenius Recruitment Kft. Daily tasks: - Maintain, stabilize and improve business-critical PHP applications and backend services - Diagnose and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks and integration failures - Develop new features and enhancements while ensuring application stability - Refactor and modernize legacy code to improve maintainability and reliability - Build and maintain integrations with internal systems, third-party platforms and APIs - Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and Infrastructure teams to support successful releases - Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives Musts: PHP, Laravel, Symfony, APIS 5+ years of professional PHP development experience Strong experience working with both modern and legacy PHP applications Hands-on knowledge of Laravel, Symfony or similar PHP frameworks Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases and data modelling Experience building and troubleshooting APIs, integrations and backend services Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns and secure coding practices Experience with Git workflows, debugging, production support and software delivery processes Bonus Points For: • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js or React • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices • Experience supporting ERP, e-commerce, supply chain or other business-critical systems Our partner is an international technology-driven organization building a strong internal engineering capability to support business-critical applications and long-term digital transformation initiatives.
