Senior PHP Software Engineer (Pimcore) Branchspace sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - Working in a small team to evolve our industry-leading Website Portal platform for the travel industry, based on the open-source Pimcore DXP web content management system. - Work with Product and UX teams to elaborate requirements and develop a technology roadmap and architecture - Hands-on architecture, design and coding - Implement and enhance effective agile dev practices e.g.
CI, TDD. - Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, tools and development practices Musts: PHP, Symfony, CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON/REST, GraphQL, SOAP/XML API Key technologies: Developing REST-ful back-end CMS services using PHP / Symfony At least basic HTML5, CSS3 and JS JSON/REST, GraphQL and SOAP/XML API design and integration AWS (EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, S3), Redis, Nginx or Apache, PHP-FPM, Git Desired experience: Pimcore DXP or other Symfony-based CMS / digital platforms Websites monitoring and analytics We performance optimisation Web security Devops including cloud hosting, especially AWS Bonus experience: Airline or Travel related mobile apps eCommerce platforms integration (for storefronts), website portal development and CRM/CDP integration experience Developing front-end components using JavaScript / TypeScript, ReactJS Developing back-end services with Java/Spring CDN deployment (Cloudflare, Akamai etc.) Track record of designing and building mission-critical, high performance mobile applications for the general public Strong team delivery focus - building solutions (not just technology) through Scrum-based team work First class honours degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering or Information Technology What we offer B2B contract Hybrid work (2 days/week at the office) Multisport card, private healthcare - Luxmed Influence over the technical direction Branchspace works with major travel brands, including airlines, to design and deliver world-class digital applications.
