About this role

Senior Product Engineer CouponFollow Daily tasks: - The automation platform supporting our Google Ads and Paid Traffic operations. - Partnership with the Technical Product Manager and business stakeholders to spot opportunities and translate business needs into scalable software. - Design, delivery, and operation of production-grade applications built with modern AI-assisted development tools. - Continuous improvement of business workflows by automating repetitive processes and reducing operational complexity.

- Technical decisions on architecture, software quality, testing, observability, and long-term maintainability. - Measurable business impact: software that makes our operations more efficient, reliable, and scalable. Musts: Backend engineering, Cloud development, Product mindset, Ownership, AI, CI/CD, Architecture Must Have Product thinking and ownership. You've owned software from concept through production and care as much about why something is built as how.

Natural curiosity. You dig into the business domain, ask why, and get energy from understanding the problem behind the request. AI-native development. You already integrate AI into your workflow across the full stack and apply sound engineering judgment to validate and improve AI-generated code. Strong engineering fundamentals. Production-grade applications, software architecture, system design, automated testing, CI/CD, and operating production systems.

Strong backend engineering experience. We primarily build in .NET , but prior .NET experience isn't required. We're looking for experienced backend engineers who are excited to learn our stack and become productive in it. Cloud experience. Experience building cloud-native applications on any major cloud platform. We use Microsoft Azure, so you'll be expected to learn our platform if your experience is with AWS, GCP, or another cloud provider.

Stakeholder partnership. Experience working with Product Managers and business stakeholders to turn business problems into technical solutions, with excellent communication skills. Excitement for this way of working. This model is new, and we're refining it together. You should want to help shape it. Nice to Have Experience building internal tools, workflow automation platforms, or business-facing applications. Familiarity with digital marketing, Google Ads, or marketing technology.

Experience with observability, monitoring, telemetry, or dashboard development. Experience in fast-paced, product-led environments with continuous delivery. A Different Kind of Engineering Role Software engineering is changing, and we're changing with it. At CouponFollow, we're moving beyond the traditional senior software engineer model to something we think is the future: the Product Engineer. Product Engineers don't implement tickets.

They own outcomes. They understand the business deeply, work project-by-project on the problems that matter most, and use AI throughout the development lifecycle to operate with a scope and speed that wasn't possible a few years ago. This is a new model, and we're learning as we go. We're looking for people who find that exciting, who want to help define what next-generation engineering looks like rather than follow a playbook someone else wrote.

About the Role We're expanding our portfolio of internal products that power one of CouponFollow's key revenue-generating businesses. As a Senior Product Engineer, you'll own the next generation of tools that make our Paid Traffic operations faster, smarter, and more scalable. Your scope is edge-to-edge: from sitting with business stakeholders to understand a problem, through designing and building the solution with modern AI-assisted tooling, to deploying it, measuring its impact, and continuously improving it in production.

You'll partner closely with a dedicated Technical Product Manager and business stakeholders to decide what gets built, why it matters, and how technology can create measurable value for the business and our customers. The Team You'll join our Revenue & Partnerships Engineering team, made up of Product Engineers and a QA Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager. Ownership on the team takes different shapes: some engineers own new products from concept through production, while others focus on making our existing stable of products great.

In every case, engineers are expected to understand the business problems behind their work and continuously improve the systems they run. What We Offer: B2B contract with a U.S.-based company Remote-first work environment Flexible working hours Hourly rate: $40-50 (Compensation paid in USD, with a fixed exchange rate of 1 USD = 4 PLN ) 10 days (80 hours) of paid Recharge Days per year (after 6 months) Annual bonus (min.

5% of yearly earnings) $1,000 annual learning budget + paid learning time (up to 3h/week) MyBenefit cafeteria program Fully funded offsites All necessary equipment and software & AI licenses provided Real ownership and impact Modern stack, no legacy baggage Space to experiment and innovate A culture that’s still startup-like: fast, pragmatic, and low on bureaucracy About CouponFollow CouponFollow helps millions of shoppers save money online through our website and Cently browser extension.

We're a remote-first product company of around 80 people, with engineering teams primarily based in Poland and business teams in the U.S. Our teams are organized around products, bringing together Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to solve real problems, experiment quickly, and deliver measurable business impact. Why Join CouponFollow? You'll own software that directly powers one of CouponFollow's core revenue streams and work closely with Product Managers, engineers, and business leaders to shape both the product roadmap and the technical direction.

We believe great software engineers combine technical excellence with product thinking, ownership, and curiosity. We also believe AI is fundamentally changing how software is built. Rather than treating AI as an optional tool, we expect engineers to use it throughout the development lifecycle to move faster, explore better solutions, and spend more time solving meaningful business problems. If you're excited about building products - not just features - and seeing your work directly improve how the business operates, we'd love to hear from you.
