Senior QA Automation Specialist - KRAKÓW Xebia sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks (Cucumber), - developing and scaling test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API services, supporting high-traffic applications, - performing API testing and automation using Postman or Rest Assured (we’ll train you on either if needed), - enhancing and extending our API/Web Service automation frameworks to keep up with evolving product needs, - writing and managing clear test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure traceability and coverage, - executing manual and automated test cases; report, track, and manage defects using Jira, - estimating, prioritizing, and planning testing activities within agile delivery teams, - performing functional and integration testing of complex systems, ensuring that all services, components, and integrations work seamlessly, - integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines with Git, Gradle/Maven, and Jenkins, - participating in sprint ceremonies, product demos, and release reviews, acting as the quality champion in your squad.

Musts: Selenium, Cucumber Your profile: 6+ years of experience in Functional Requirement Gathering, 6+ years of experience in Selenium Test Automation using BDD principles, 4 years of hands-on experience with Cucumber, 4 years of experience in API Test Automation using karate and/or rest assured, 2 years of experience with GIT, experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, experience with build tools such as maven or Gradle, experience working with ci/cd pipelines using Jenkins, experience with Postman, experience in database testing, including SQL queries and data validation, practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g.

Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery, Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Nice to have: experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work, interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g.

agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
