About this role

To enhance the performance and reliability of blockchain infrastructure, the full-time Senior Software Engineer specializing in Block Production will develop and optimize block production mechanisms, refine scheduling processes, and ensure security and integrity within a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Develop and optimize mechanisms for block production to improve throughput and stability of the Solana network Refine scheduling mechanisms for block production and verification, enabling efficient transaction processing Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within the block production pipeline Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience with 3+ years in core infrastructure software and distributed systems Strong proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust, C, or C++ Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques Knowledge of common security threats and best practices in securing block production processes Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration
