About this role

Software Engineer (Python / AWS) Silvair Daily tasks: - Designing and implementing new features and functionalities, covering everything from business logic to API and persistence layers - Contributing to architectural decisions — particularly around service decomposition, cloud infrastructure, and long-term technical debt reduction - Performing code reviews to maintain code quality and share technical knowledge across the team - Writing and maintaining automated tests across the testing pyramid to ensure reliability and prevent regressions - Collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into solid technical solutions Musts: Git, Jenkins, SQL, Python, pytest, PostgreSQL Essential job requirements: Solid experience (3+ years) with Python and Pytest Practical experience with asynchronous programming in Python Strong knowledge of REST APIs and familiarity with event-driven architectures Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis in production environments Operational experience with Docker and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code with a focus on architecture and minimizing technical debt Self-reliance in everyday work, strong communication skills, and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams Nice to have: Experience with JavaScript and Node.js Exposure to TypeScript and Angular Familiarity with AWS, Terraform, and Ansible About the job We are looking for an engineer who will be a part of Silvair’s Engineering Team developing "Silvair Platform" - that is cloud infrastructure, services, appliances and web applications designed to make mesh network management easy, fast and reliable.
