About this role

Tech SME - System Admin Oracle DB Mindbox Sp. z o.o. Daily tasks: - Install, configure and maintain Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL databases - Patch management, upgrades, backup/restore/recovery processes - Performance troubleshooting and tuning - Capacity planning & optimization - Incident analysis, root cause investigations - Log analysis (DB and Linux) - Participating in major incident bridges - Collaborate with Linux Admin and Application teams - Troubleshoot interactions between DB, OS, and application layers - Execute database changes in controlled maintenance windows - Perform weekend production changes - Pre/post-change validation and risk assessments - 24/7 rota coverage for out-of-hours issues - Support weekend deployments when necessary Musts: Linux, RHEL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Must-Have Skills & Experience: 5+ years as DBA in production environments Strong Linux knowledge ( RHEL ) Hands-on with Oracle (install/configure, backup/recover, performance tuning) Experience with PostgreSQL, MS SQL Strong production mindset: incident handling, RCA, controlled changes Nice to Have: Shell scripting / automation Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, Connect:Direct, BMC Control-M Financial services / regulated environments Joining this project you’ll become part of Mindbox – a tech-driven company where consulting, engineering, and talent meet to build meaningful digital solutions.

Join us and make an impact! We are seeking a hands-on Database Administrator to join our Enterprise Infrastructure – Digital Business Automation team.

This role is critical for supporting mission‑critical Linux-based platforms, including IBM Sterling File Gateway, IBM Connect:Direct and BMC Control-M , in a high-availability production environment. You will work on complex database operations, production incident handling (L2/L3) , and ensure platform stability across global teams.
