1637 - Systems Test Engineer

Sigma Defense is currently seeking an experienced S ystems Test engineer with a background in requirements definition and tracking and test automation to join our team in Fairmont, WV. Requirements 3-6 years of experience in DoW systems and test engineering. Ability to identify, reproduce, and resolve software defects. Proficiency with Git based tools in Linux environments. Proficiency with reading and understanding of C++. Experienced with designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. Experienced with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Math or physics background a plus. Interest and understanding of RF signals and radar technologies. Must be a U.S. citizen. Computer Programs/Software: Linux C++ Python Bash Docker/Podman Git Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study. Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate. Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive): Development of requirements and design specifications. Test, plan, and procedure development. Test automation implementation. System testing and installation support. Salary Range: USD 90,000 - USD 120,000 annually.
