About this role

Demonstrated experience in federal procurement, to include serving as a contracting officer authorized to solicit contract proposals, negotiate, execute, administer, and/or terminate public contracts. Demonstrated experience developing statements of work and procurement strategies, evaluation plans, pricing methodologies and contract administration plans. Exceptional leadership, team building, and management skills, with a proven record of organizational and problem-solving skills; sound ethics and judgment; and a professional demeanor.

A demonstrated ability to exercise a substantial degree of initiative and independent judgment. Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills, and a proven track record of serving as a trusted adviser. Applicants must possess a FAC-C (Professional) or equivalent certification, or possess a Legacy FAC-C Certification (Levels I, II, or III), Legacy Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Contracting Certification (Levels I, II, or III) or a Department of Defense (DOD) Contracting Professional Certification, at the time of application.

Four years of (1) demonstrated experience leading source selections consisting of: cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of related contract documentation; (2) demonstrated experience awarding and administering a variety of contract types, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost-Reimbursement, Incentive, and/or Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ); and demonstrated knowledge of federal procurement rules.
