Basic Requirement for Acquisition Program Specialist, NH-1101: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Advising and collaborating with stakeholders to develop and review documents such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), task orders, and related acquisition documents to ensure performance requirements and criteria are accurately defined; 2) Creating cost estimates and monitoring contractor expenditures to support informed decision-making during the acquisition process; 3) Experience assisting Contracting Officer's Representatives with inspections, audits, or status reporting for assigned contract actions.

The employee must meet the DODI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the Career Category/Functional Area and the Career Level Certification assigned on the sequenced position Conditions of Employment data filed in the header of the PD/PRD. Program Management Practitioner Level II: This is a DOD Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.

Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
