ACQUISITION PROGRAM SPECIALIST

About this role

GS-7 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-5) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: 1) Communicating orally and in writing; reading and responding to customers in writing and through verbal exchanges; 2) Managing multiple minor projects or transactions, dividing time assigned to task based on urgency and efficiency, working at own pace effectively.

3) Interfacing and interpreting Microsoft Office (MS) programs to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, comfortable working with Adobe PDF files, standard internet browsers and general windows-based platform operations. 4) Organizing, storing, preserving, and maintaining official files and records, and related information; and 5) Creating labels, categories and or digital storage environments to safeguard mandatory records retention regulation.

GS-9 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-7) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes: (1) Demonstrating working knowledge and skill to draw conclusions and make recommendations by analyzing facts and conditions, and making comparison of contract price and cost analysis; (2) Preparing technical documents and reports to present factual information and to draft contracts provisions and supporting documentation; (3) Applying analytical, financial, and contractual information and techniques to accomplish program goals and objectives; and (4) Interpreting agency policies to determine their effect on meeting acquisition and contract support requirements for assigned program.
