Aerospace Engineer

About this role

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, coordinating, and solving complex and difficult mechanical systems / subsystems (specifically landing gear) issues requiring substantial analysis and evaluation of root causes, effects and alternatives, hazard and safety of flight assessments and airworthiness considerations; and 2) Conducting state of the art engineering analyses to provide substantiated and documented support for in-service engineering actions, including repair, overhaul, modification, operation, maintenance, manufacture, and to improve reliability, maintainability and safety.
