Airport Compliance Specialist
About this role
To qualify for this position at the I pay band level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent at the next lower level, FV-H, FG/GS-12. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Specialized experience is: Experience in the application of the policies and principles pertaining to aspects of airport operations (e.g., airport planning, airport management, airport compliance, or business law) sufficient to provide advice and guidance to officials in various Lines of Businesses/Staff Offices (LOBs/SOs).
Experience in conducting investigations and writing reports sufficient to substantiate findings. Applicants MUST include examples of specialized experience in their work history. In addition to the qualification requirements listed above, the following has been determined to be a Selective Placement Factor for this position: Knowledge of laws and regulations in the areas of aviation law, aviation finance, aviation planning, aviation management, airport compliance programs, including terms and conditions of federal land transfers and federal grant obligations.
