Application Specialist – D365 Field Service & Power Platform Position Overview Apex is seeking a highly capable Application Specialist to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing operation of our Dynamics 365 Field Service (D365FS) and Power Platform solution.
This role serves as the functional backbone of the platform post-build, bridging the gap between end users, helpdesk support, and engineering. Role Summary The Application Specialist translates business needs into configuration and front-end platform changes, supports implementation and post-go-live stabilization, acts as an escalation point for complex issues, partners with engineering to define low-code vs. pro-code boundaries, and drives training, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain D365 Field Service and Power Platform components Translate business requirements into functional solutions Support implementation, testing, and rollout Provide post-go-live support and system stabilization Act as tier 2/3 escalation for Helpdesk Support client-facing platform issues via PMs Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams Deliver training and onboarding for users R equired Qualifications Experience with Dynamics 365 Field Service Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) Strong understanding of configuration vs customization Experience supporting enterprise applications Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred Experience AEC or environmental consulting experience <span data-contr
