ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on engineering role at an early-stage fintech company building an AI-powered platform for the tax advisory industry. You'll design and own the agentic AI foundation that underpins real product features — not prototypes — and ship those features directly into live advisory workflows where they make an immediate difference. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and build the agentic AI infrastructure that powers the company's core product capabilities.

- Ship the first production AI use cases into tax advisory workflows, from architecture through to deployment. - Own the full AI stack end-to-end, taking responsibility for reliability, scalability, and iteration speed. - Work closely with advisory teams to gather real user feedback and translate it into rapid product improvements. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience building agentic AI systems — LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, and tool use in production environments.

- Strong software engineering fundamentals; hands-on experience with NestJS and/or React is a meaningful plus. - A builder mindset — you reach for code-first solutions, not low-code platforms. - Demonstrated ability to ship production-ready AI features, not just experiments. - Background or genuine interest in accounting, finance, or process automation domains is a welcome bonus. - Comfortable working on-site and collaborating in person in a fast-moving, small team environment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: €60,000 – €120,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LOCATION On-site in Berlin, Germany. Remote work is not an option for this position.
