ATTORNEY ADVISER
About this role
As a Attorney Adviser in the Office of General Counsel (OGC), Program Law and Policy Department (PLPD) at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), you will have to demonstrate the following: GS-14: Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the private sector providing legal advice and counsel on complex regulatory, administrative and statutory matters.
Examples include: interpreting and applying statutes and regulations; advising on complex legal and regulatory issues; drafting and reviewing regulatory and legal documents; responding to regulatory inquiries and proposals; and supporting federal rulemaking activities. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
