General Experience - All Series GS-0511 personnel must be certified at the next higher grade-level within 24 months of appointment if it is required at the next higher grade-level: and, must have a minimum of one year on-the-job experience in the grade immediately below the next higher level. 1. Must have experience and skills in each of the following: 1. 36 months of financial audit and/or performance audit experiences that led to objective and systematic examinations and resulted in independent assessments, efficiency, organization, program, activity or function. 2. The competency to perform financial audits that included financial statements and financial related audits. 3. Experience that demonstrates your abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies and procedures.

4. Skilled in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. 5. The ability to comprehend and/or apply problem-solving and negotiating techniques. 6. Skilled in working with multiple software computer programs. 7. Skilled in writing and presenting analytical reports and formal briefings. 8. Skilled in applying procedures and directives by reading and interpreting program material.
