All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.. Minimum Qualification for the GS-07 level Education: 1 full year of graduate level education; OR a Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement as defined by OPM OR Experience: 1 year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-05 grade level performing all of the following: Reviewing data or records to infer conclusions; AND Preparing thorough write-ups of work performed, observations made, or conclusions drawn, such as writing detailed meeting minutes or oral interview notes or documenting observable conditions.
OR Combination of Education and Experience: If you possess some, but not all, of the education or specialized experience described above, you may still qualify by combining the amount of creditable experience and education that you possess. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education in excess of 18 hours (total semester hours minus 18) by 18.
Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify. Minimum Qualification for the GS-09 level Education: A master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR a L.L.B. or J.D. OR Experience: 1 year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-07 grade level performing all of the following: Assisting in project planning by identifying areas susceptible to weakness or risk; Researching laws, regulations, guidelines, policies, and/or procedures as part of an assignment; AND Preparing written summaries of work performed and conclusions reached, complete with supporting documents, that contribute to a final written report on a subject matter, such as an audit report or research paper.
