Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have experience that shows progressively responsible experience which provided a general knowledge of management principles and training. Requires working knowledge of maintenance equipment and automotive mechanics, skill in the use of a wide variety of equipment repair tools, various types of mechanical repair; knowledge of the theory, care, and operation of internal combustion engines and mowing equipment; ability to diagnose mechanical troubles and determine appropriate maintenance work; ability to communicate effectively and keep business records.

Certification as an automotive technician is required. Experience in managing personnel is highly desirable. Must meet specific physical requirements, pass a physical examination. Must hove a valid state driver's license. Must be able to complete and maintain a satisfactory National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). This is a drug testing designated position.
