Azure/Snowflake Security Architect (Qatar project Link Group Daily tasks: - Assess the security architecture of Azure and Snowflake environments. - Review cloud security controls, identity and access management, and data protection mechanisms. - Evaluate cybersecurity, governance, and compliance capabilities against industry standards and best practices. - Identify security, architectural, and operational gaps, providing clear recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with security teams, architects, and business stakeholders throughout the assessment process. - Produce documentation covering current-state findings, risk assessments, and target-state recommendations. - Contribute to the design of a secure, scalable, and compliant cloud architecture that will support the implementation phase. Musts: Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud security, Azure Security, Snowflake, Security Frameworks, Cloud Governance, Stakeholder management, Documentation skills Strong hands-on experience with Azure Security .

Experience securing Snowflake environments. Solid understanding of cloud security architecture and security best practices. Knowledge of identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and governance . Experience performing security assessments, risk analysis, and compliance reviews . Familiarity with security frameworks, cloud governance, and regulatory requirements. Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have Microsoft AZ-500 certification or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of Snowflake security capabilities. Experience within regulated industries, particularly Financial Services . Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure software delivery. Experience Required 6+ years of experience in Cloud Security, Cybersecurity, or Security Architecture. 2+ years working with Azure security services and cloud security solutions.

Proven experience conducting enterprise security assessments, architecture reviews, and cloud security improvement initiatives About the Project Join a strategic cloud transformation initiative delivered in two phases. The first phase focuses on assessing the existing Azure and Snowflake environment, including cloud architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, governance, and operating processes. The outcome will be a comprehensive current-state assessment along with recommendations for improving security, compliance, and platform maturity.

The second phase will involve implementing the proposed improvements and supporting the design and build of a secure, scalable Snowflake data platform. Your Role As an Azure & Snowflake Security Architect , you will play a key role in evaluating and strengthening the organization's cloud security posture. Working closely with security and technology stakeholders, you will identify architectural and security gaps, assess compliance against industry best practices, and define recommendations that will shape the future cloud platform.
