About this role
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 or GS-12 to GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing advanced financial project management and team leadership functions to include directing, executing, and overseeing complex program portfolios with overarching responsibility for strategic financial planning, cost, schedule, and performance; 2) Leading high-level acquisition-related program and financial execution activities, including directing the development, review, and presentation of executive-level program documentation such as strategic budget narratives, comprehensive spend plans, investment justifications, or senior leadership briefings used to drive major management or acquisition decisions; 3)Demonstrating mastery of Department of Defense or comparable organizational planning and budgeting processes, such as the Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, including experience leading Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development, defending multi-year funding requests, and directing comprehensive financial execution oversight across multiple appropriations; 4) Managing and integrating financial and programmatic operations for large-scale portfolios involving equipment, systems, or materiel across the entire acquisition lifecycle.
This includes directing procurement, sustainment, and life-cycle cost estimates, with responsibility for ensuring the integration of technical, financial, and schedule requirements at a portfolio level; and 5) Leading and supervising teams, independently coordinate with high-level internal and external stakeholders, strategically assess and mitigate complex programmatic and financial risks, and align portfolio resources to deliver operationally relevant capabilities.
