You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience performing work that involves the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software in order to ensure that applications are optimized for state-of-the-art technology, current and planned functionality, and regulatory requirements for an organization.

Examples for this position could include: - Project experience for a business system with a wide variety of technologies (i.e. programming languages, frameworks, platforms, tools, databases); OR - Experience providing IT services such as designing, developing, testing, documenting, maintaining, and/or integrating application software; OR - Participating in technological planning, product evaluation, and report development.
