Specialized experience is the experience that has equipped you with the specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To qualify for the CU-12, all applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-11 level obtained in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience for this position includes experience: 1. Assessing financial institution compliance with federal consumer financial protection laws and regulations during investigations or examinations; and 2. Intaking consumer complaints and determining purview with NCUA's supervisory and enforcement authority of federal consumer financial protection laws and regulations; and 3. Utilizing databases or other electronic record keeping and workflow management systems to manage case work.

To qualify for the CU-13, all applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the CU/GS-12 level obtained in the private or public sector. Specialized experience for this position includes experience: 1. Assessing financial institution compliance with federal consumer financial protection laws and regulations during investigations or examinations; and 2. Drafting formal written correspondence to members of the public, Congress, or financial institutions concerning the interpretation of federal consumer financial protection laws and regulations; and 3.

Utilizing databases or other electronic record keeping and workflow management systems to manage case work.
